Cooktop
Element won’t heat
One burner is dead, or the whole cooktop stays cold.
What this usually means
A single dead element is often the element or its switch. If every burner is out, we look at power, the control lock, or a failed board.
What we typically check
- Element continuity and limiter
- Infinite switch or electronic control
- Power to the cooktop
- Control-lock or child-lock state
$89 diagnostic / service call fee, applied toward the repair if you move forward. Repair work is quoted after diagnosis — we do not publish parts or labor prices online. Call or text (480) 881-4759 if you want to talk it through first.
