Dryer
No heat
The drum turns, but clothes stay cold and damp.
What this usually means
No heat on electric is often an element or thermal fuse. On gas it is often the igniter or gas coils. A restricted vent can also make the dryer look like it has no heat.
What we typically check
- Heating element or igniter and gas coils
- Thermal fuse and cycling thermostats
- Vent restriction from the dryer to the outside
- Power — electric dryers need both legs of 240V
